LUX PROVIDENCE

Lux Providence Stockbook

Privacy Policy

Effective November 2, 2026

This policy describes the Lux Providence Stockbook application's intended Google Drive folder integration and the separate public information site at this address. Stockbook is a privately operated livestock recordkeeping application.

Information involved in the integration

To create or find a litter or hatch folder, Stockbook may send the animal category, birth or hatch date, and parent or group name to an owner-authorized Google Apps Script. That script can identify the configured Google Drive parent folder, check for an existing matching folder, create missing folders where appropriate, and return the resulting folder name and URL. Stockbook may retain that URL and the related request and delivery status alongside the appropriate record.

Google account permissions

The folder creator uses the Google Drive authorization scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive. This broad scope permits access to Google Drive files, even though the folder creator is designed to operate only within three configured livestock folder destinations. The access is requested from the authorized Google account owner and should not be granted to untrusted operators.

How the information is used

The integration uses the information for livestock folder organization, linking relevant files to Stockbook records, detecting duplicates, and retrying unsuccessful folder operations. It is not intended for advertising, profiling, or sale of Google user data.

Storage and security

Stockbook runs on privately managed infrastructure, while the folder creator executes within the owner's Google account. Google Drive folders remain in the owner's Google Drive. OAuth credentials and tokens, once configured, should be stored in protected server-side files rather than public web pages or client-side source code. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

Retention and deletion

Livestock records, folder links, and associated request histories may be retained as operational records. Removing a Stockbook link does not automatically delete the associated Google Drive folder. Requests to review, correct, or remove records are handled by the application owner, subject to applicable operational retention requirements.

Sharing

The integration necessarily exchanges the folder-request information and responses with Google services to perform the authorized operation. This site does not offer public access to private Stockbook or Drive records. Any additional sharing or third-party integration practices should be reviewed and reflected in this policy before being enabled.

This public website

This website is a static informational site and does not provide user accounts, contact forms, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process ordinary technical request data as part of delivering and securing the site; refer to Cloudflare's applicable privacy information for those practices.

Your choices and contact

The Google account owner can review or revoke the app's Google account access through Google's security settings. Revoking access will prevent future authorized folder operations until reconnection. For questions about the application or this policy, contact zachary.lux@gmail.com.

Changes

This policy may be updated if Stockbook's integrations or information-handling practices change. The effective date will be updated when substantive revisions are published.
